  The Sea Palace gave us a free upgrade as we arrived during a low season. We got incredible attention from Alex, even serving as our interpretor when he assisted us in locating my husbands mothers childhood home in Fuscaldo. Our trip would not have been as successful as it was without him.   This was a great b&b in a central location and the view was lovely. The room was spacious and airy with a lovely balcony.There is a fab restaurant directly across the street . The owners offer pick up and drop off to the train. (Unfortunately my phone wasn't working so I never received the text from the owner, Alexandra , about collecting us ... was die leute sagen » until I had sweated my way up the steep hill with my rucksack!) Wifi was free. We had a choice of 2 bars/ cafes for breakfast the following morning w - Nice clean room (a bit Spartan but it had everything I needed and I felt very comfortable there), spacious, balcony overlooking the main square of town, pick-up & drop off at the train station was great. Owner was friendly, helpful, gave a complete overview of the town while checking me in. Plenty of hot water and heat (necessary in November). Breakfast was the standard juice or coffee & pastry at a place nearby.
