The castle is around 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. Absolutely lovely and we highly recommend to hire a speed boat for yourselves and go around the lake. And there is a spa and thermal place by the castle you definitely should go!

The pool was beautiful but cold in the beginning of May. We walked around the town and we were quite close to the middle of Sirmione, about 200m. The staff recommended a boat ride around the island, 40 Euros, and a trip across the Lake to Lazio. Both were excellent. The breakfast was extensive and delicious.
