  The Poseidonia Mare has got to be one of the best kept secrets in all of Italy! It seems as though everytime I write reviews about the places I have stayed, everyone catches on and then when i want to go again, it's filled up! The sister Sofia is probably one of the best cooks in all - We stayed at this hotel in mid September and at the end of the season so it was quite quiet. The room was superb with a balcony and a glimpse of the sea. The hotel itself showed attention to detail in every way. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful.   The hotel is perfect visiting the temples, and the family room accomodated our family very comfortably. The staff of the hotel is amazing - transferred us to and from the train station in a private vehicle to facilitate a tight schedule, and the restaurant affiliated with the hotel opened 1/2 hour early to accomodate our young son.   The staff were fantastic guys who were always making sure we were happy! The food they prepare there is amazing & local. Dinner is a great value & includes drinks as well. We were served the best wine we've had in Italy! We like it so much we Wanted to buy a boytle & they gave us one as a gift. Our room was very clean & comfortable... was die leute sagen » - no a/c but had a big ceiling fan! It's also right next to the ruins. - What a fantastic place to stay! From the moment Mimo picked us up at the train station to the moment we left, we had an amazing experience. We were treated like family, including an outstanding dinner cooked just for us--with the freshest, most delicious ingredients. It's just steps from the ruins, the perfect location. We were extremely sad to leave. It was our favorite place in Italy.

  La Locanda del Mare ist ein Geheim Typ für alle die, die sich erholen möchten. Natur Pur. Kein Luxus aber dafür Sauber, Freundlich, Hilfsbereit, jeden Wunsch wird unverzüglich erfüllt, gute Küche, Top-Personal. Einfach Gemütlich wie Zuhause. Meine 8-jährige Tochter wollte nicht mehr nach Hause fahren. Die Zimmer sind mit Klimaanlage, Fernseher, Kü... was die leute sagen » hlschrank und Haartrockner ausgestattet, jeden Tag werden die Handtücher gewechselt und die Zimmern gesäubert sowie die Betten gerichtet. Die Bettwäsc - Einrichtung, Lage und Personal waren wirklich hervorragend. Man bekam diverse Anregungen für die eigene Einrichtung zuhause. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Schade, dass man keine 12 Punkte vergeben kann.

  The hosts were great, and so were the two twin cats. We were welcomed warmly, good breakfast, and friendly advice about Paestum - The staff were wonderful, very friendly and alwaysavailable. I will absolutely stay there again.
