  The location is handy, breakfast was typically italian. - Because of a late arrival at CIA airport, we had booked a simple accommodation very close to Ciampino train station reachable by a local bus (1.20 EUR one-way). If we had missed the bus, we would have had to take an over-priced taxi (20 EUR). Our plan was to take the train to Termini (1.50 ... was die leute sagen » EUR one-way) on the next day, which worked out OK, although there are direct bus connections from CIA to Termini (from 3.80 to 6.00 EUR one-way). The room assigned to us was spacious but apparently freshly pa - Clean and modern decorated. Very close to Ciampino Station which you can take train to Termini for 15 minutes (there's no control, no need to pay any :)) and access the city easily. It's also close to Ciampino Airport and there's shuttle bus passing in front of the hostel. Supermarket is just under the hostel and there are so many pizzerias near.

  The grounds are absolutely beautiful! The apartments ( we rented 2) are immaculate, and the owners are so hospitable. We have 3 children 4 and under, and this was a wonderful place for our stay. We will certainly be back again! By the way- this would be an amazing location for a family photo shoot.

There was a free shuttle taking you direct to the metro station making travelling to Rome much easier and cheaper as it is situated approx 5 miles out. The room I was staying in was absolutely fabulous, but the best thing was the kindness of Alessia, the receptionist: I can't really imagine a better treatment, she was helpful and very nice to me and my friend and really made us feel like at home. The rest of the staff was nice... was die leute sagen » , too; we had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious and buffet breakfast was yummy! - We thought the place was beautiful, the people running the hotel very helpful and friendly. The views from the hotel of the nearer landscapes and Rome in the distance (we were above Rome on a hill) were wonderful and gave a feeling of being in a unique place.
