  My wife and I took 5 days vacation in Ubud. We stayed 2 nights here in The Purist. The overall environment and the room is amazing! Quiet, peacful, and clean. The Villia just so fit into natural. Staffs are very nice, friendly, and with smile all the time. And they won't "bother" you too much if you are looking for a peaceful stay. We are pr - The service was outstanding. Nothing was too difficult for the staff, and they were particularly helpful with preparing food for our 8 month old baby. Food is excellent and freshly sourced, but we were also provided details for take away pizza when we expressed a desire for different food. Finally, when we requested a late check out, we were permitted to move to a different villa until 3pm at no extra charge, this was extremely helpful given that we were travelling with a baby.

  This hotel was well located by car, but a good 45 minute walk into the centre of Ubud. While they do offer a complimentary shuttle car, I would recommend the walk if you want to meet locals, see local shops and houses and get a better feel for the place.The grounds are spacious with beautiful rice paddies surrounding the property. You couldn't put your finger on what exactly was the magic at this hotel, but that's the exact point. You didnt' want for anything, nor did you have to ask for anything. True Bliss.

  First I would like to say a big thank you for all the staff and management at The Mansion Hotel. The hotel itself is a reflection of the Balinese culture. Or, I can say is a open Balinese museum..From the moment you walk in, the colors and the genuine friendliness of the staff hits you like a train. This place has a lot of character and it made a nice change to the large chain hotels. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was really quiet - as there are 5 pools - there always seemed to be somewhere you could relax without too many others around.   Komaneka at Bisma is located in an incredible setting overlooking rice paddies and the pool. The suites are large and have a great balcony. The staff are exceptional. They made us feel like family and we enjoyed them as much as the hotel! We had a one year old with us and they often watched him while we finished our meal. They also connected us with a driver /guid - Lovely setting, just a short distance from central Ubud. Beautiful rooms, with a large terrace complete with sun loungers from where you can enjoy the lovely views of palm trees and some paddy fields, and the infinity pool. Liked the touches like the bedtime reading stories which were placed bedside at the turn down service. The breakfast was a veritable feast every day with lots of choice. Make sure you sample the snacks at tea time, too. A delightful place to base yourself in Ubud.
