  It was amazingly clean, esp for being a "hostel." It was an apartment broken up into rooms, but it was very safe. There were tons of keys and locks and I felt like the location was safe anyways. The staff spoke really good English and tried to help us find anything we had questions on. They are very knowledgeable about everything because they are ... was die leute sagen » locals. They also aren't part of a hotel scheme, so they tell you good authentic places to go. Really enjoyed our stay. - The rooms were clean and big, and since the hostel had just opened, everything was new and the interior was nice and fresh! the location is good, it is really close to the astoria metro station. the staff was friendly and helpful and when we wanted to stay one more night, it was no problem! you can also use their kitchen, washing maschine and so on. it was a really pleasant stay and I would definetely go there again! :)

More a big Apartment with 4 middle too great bedrooms a little kitchen (you can cook if you like :)) and the cleanest sanitation facilities I've seen so far (even if all the guests in the house use them). The location is brilliant for exploring Budapest. The Hostel is 3min awa - Very nice and very helpful staff - young woman Anita. Large and clean rooms (four rooms total), large bathroom, kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and free tea or coffee. 3 minutes walking to/from the metro station. Cheap and convenient city transport, particularly shuttle bus from the airport at night (8 euros for one-way). Friendly people in the city, willing to help, many speak english.

  Very nice hostel, quiet and has no-shoes policy, so you got to put slippers on to be able to walk inside the hostel (which is fine with me as I don't wear shoes at home either). Rooms are very warm, and since I'm used to lower temperatures I had to open windows a few times to get some cool air in... Perfect - -Excellent location. -Clean, big, and new room. -The blankets and pillows smell very good and clean. -Big windows in the room. -Two shared toilets which are big and clean. I saw the housemaid did very good job. Even a hair she saw on the ground, she picked it up! -We stayed friends hostel for 5 days, they helped us to wash clothes for free.   Wir waren auf der Durchreise auf Donau-Radtour und buchten spontan nachmittags zwei Stunden vor Anreise für eine Nacht. Hat alles super geklappt, die Buchung lag schon ausgedruckt vor und wir fühlten uns willkommen in dem kleinen Gasthof.   Its was one of the best hostel I've stayed in.. staff was really amazing..the moment I booked I got a mail asking if I need an help with coming here and the moment I arrived almost midnight I was asked if I wanted some dinner they had prepared for the staff and they all helped me explore the city and the room was beautiful specially the view and v... was die leute sagen » ery clean place...felt like staying for a couple of days more.. felt like home..:-) - nice bulding near transport hub (underground and train) a few minutes walk also from President Palace. Our accomodation was in a semi-apartment as we were sharing kitchen and bathroom with just one other room. Nice and basic furniture, spacious room. Good access system in the building. Really worth the money.

I was given excellent and informed advice on anything I asked from literature recommendations to caving to the opera.   Staff was very nice and very helpful. They sent us an email right after our booking, to explain to us how to get to the hostel. They welcomed us with a lot of useful information about budapest. The private flat we had was very well equiped, clean, and spacious. The location is also excellent!
