  Very nice hostel, quiet and has no-shoes policy, so you got to put slippers on to be able to walk inside the hostel (which is fine with me as I don't wear shoes at home either). Rooms are very warm, and since I'm used to lower temperatures I had to open windows a few times to get some cool air in... Perfect - -Excellent location. -Clean, big, and new room. -The blankets and pillows smell very good and clean. -Big windows in the room. -Two shared toilets which are big and clean. I saw the housemaid did very good job. Even a hair she saw on the ground, she picked it up! -We stayed friends hostel for 5 days, they helped us to wash clothes for free. And cleaned and hanged it in our room. Thank you so much. -The receptionist helped us everyday, he booked the caving tour, sold the reservation spa tickets,

  This was my best hostel experience so far. I can't believe what I got for my money; it was clean, comfortable, centrally located and absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed local and homemade produce during breakfast and tea and coffee was available throughout the day. I really can't complain about anything. He is very comfortabl - Alex is very friendly and personable. You feel welcome as soon as you arrive and the hostel has everything that you need. Alex will give you helpful advice on what to do and goes out of his way to make sure you have a good time in Budapest. It is incredibly clean and well kept. You do feel at home and it is very cosy!   Very good value for money - our own room for 5 people for 3 nights was 20 euros each. The location was great, easy to walk everywhere and there was a cute little cafe on the corner which was open until 4am - so that was great for a late night chill! There were some nice stalls there selling touristy stuff but also mulled wine and food. - Location is simply perfect, everything's in walking distance in the downtown. Further sites of Budapest can be cought by really cheap (~15€) hop-on hop-off offer by the reception. Staff is really professinal and kind, specially the guys (thanks for the bar recommendations). Everything was clean and fresh. Definetelly recommended to other backpackers.

  Very friendly and helpful staff Good location - just next to metro line, short walk distance to both Pest centre, and nightlife centre. Nice communal areas.   Wir waren auf der Durchreise auf Donau-Radtour und buchten spontan nachmittags zwei Stunden vor Anreise für eine Nacht. Hat alles super geklappt, die Buchung lag schon ausgedruckt vor und wir fühlten uns willkommen in dem kleinen Gasthof.   It was amazingly clean, esp for being a "hostel." It was an apartment broken up into rooms, but it was very safe. There were tons of keys and locks and I felt like the location was safe anyways. The staff spoke really good English and tried to help us find anything we had questions on. They are very knowledgeable about everything because they are ... was die leute sagen » locals. They also aren't part of a hotel scheme, so they tell you good authentic places to go. Really enjoyed our stay. - The rooms were clean and big, and since the hostel had just opened, everything was new and the interior was nice and fresh! the location is good, it is really close to the astoria metro station. the staff was friendly and helpful and when we wanted to stay one more night, it was no problem! you can also use their kitchen, washing maschine and so on. it was a really pleasant stay and I would definetely go there again! :)

  I have participated at the Budapest Nike Half Marathon and I choose this hostel because is across the Start/Finishing line. The hostel is very well situated for sports, museums, Zoo and because it is very close from Petoffi Hall where often take place rock concerts.   For this money is very good. We must understand(for some previus commentators), this is just cheap slip option and not Ritz or hilton(for those you must pay a lot of money). The guy from Serbia was very nice and kind(also spoke a lot of lauguages). Iztok from SLO - i ve liked the welcome of GYULA and DORKA, SUPER!!!!!
