When I approached the front door it opened automatically and as I turned toward the front desk, this charming, helpful, and professional young man came out from an office door to great me. Sangria each evening in the hotel lobby for you to grab a glass on your way back up to your room. Rooms were lovely and spacious.   Wow! What a gem of a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at how fabulous this hotel is... everything from the location, decor to the staff service. It certainly added to our experience of Budapest. We had a magnificent view over the Danube and the breakfast and evening facilities in the executive lounge were second to none. We booked two executive rooms, which while relatively compact, provided all we needed. We arrived early, before our rooms were ready, but with our (discounted) exec rooms we spent some time on the excellent executive terrace & lounge, with free drinks and a great view of the river. This ia more of a big business hotel of course, but for us it was a usefull one-night stop on our Road Trip. Breakfast (also in the exec lounge) was quite good.
