  First of all the location is perfect. Santorini is a paradise place of the planet. The Kamari beach is very nice and I can say, that if You go to Santorini - You'd better stay in beach area of the island and take tours to the architectural part of the island. The tours to Oia, volcano, Thirassia are very popular,renting cars is extremely popular, the island is small, so no blockers for living - Location is the best, looking over to promenade and beach. Bus station is very close. Internet is working very good, air condition also very good. A lot of life all over the day/night (restaurants, shops). Very nice owner and staff, especially Emmanuella!!

  This is the first time I am writing a review but Nikos and Vagelitsa were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt a need to share my wonderful experience. Excellent homely food, peace and tranquility, picturesque location were factors that made this trip memorable. I will be soon returning to Scala!

George (the manager) emailed us a day before to confirm our arrival time at the port, and then actually came in person to pick us up.   Das Hotel war überaus freundlich und familiär, ohne Luxus, man wurde am HAfen abgeholt und auch wieder gebracht, das Frühstück individuell, die Ruhe und der Blick über das weite LAnd herrlich, vor der Tür die Bushaltestelle zu den zuverlässig fahrenden Bussen zu veschiedenen Stränden. We chose Sifnos because it is less touristy than many and we chose the Arhontou because we wanted to stay away from the water (for a change) in a quieter Greek town (Apollonia) and Arhontou was just a short walk down to the charming village. We weren't able to rent a car (they ran out) but did very well using the bus. We went to Lazarou Beach (more of a cove - no sand) and had some of the bes - Overall good location althought I can be a bit of a trek into town. Pleasant to see the farms below the hotel. Everything was clean.
