  Casa del Mar was recommended to me by a good friend. I only needed to come to Mykonos for a very short trip; Casa seemed a nice, luxurious place to stay without having to spend a fortune. Car is essential as it would be anywhere in Mykonos for people who plan to see a bit more than a hotel pool. We were 2 couples and we wanted apartment with kitchen, to have breakfast on veranda. Casa del mar was perfect for that too! Pictures are the mirror of reality, we recommend definitely.

  Sofos hotel is a fantastic place to stay in the lovely seaside of Saint George! The staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. After a warm welcome from Victor at the reception, we were dazzled by the amazing view across saint George beach. Simply spectacular. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and spotlessly clean, with free wifi included. The pool and spa area was the perfect place for unwinding.   Friendly Staff!!!! The food is excellent I did a treatment at the spa and I was treated like a princess, I really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and really well decorated, the vue was stunning.   Nice environment, all services available in the hotel - The views are beautiful. Breakfast is very good. The room was relatively big with adequate closet space and many hangers. The pool area and spa building with salt water hydrapool are very nice.

I've never had a better hotel experience (even at fancy places), and it felt like staying with a nice Greek family. FYI: don't get a taxi at the port, but look for the Hotel Grotta van, they pick you up. Or you can simply walk a little ways away from the ferry (we came by ferry) and look up to your left.
