  We stayed in this hotel twice this year. It has a good location, 5 min away from metro station, bus stop just few meters away. There are lots of places to eat / have a drink nearby, from cheap to rather expensive. Staff is friendly and helpful, no problems in communication at all, everyone speak English really well. Soundproof windows. - This hotel is situated a metro stop away from the centre of Athens (5 mins walk to metro). The front desk staff were really friendy and helpful and there was free secure parking. The route in from the airport was fairly easy using our satnav. The rooms are a little tired, but the two room suite we had was excellent for a family with young children as the outside door could be closed at night. Breakfast was fine.

When we checked in, we were given a room on a second floor that was a smoking room where everything was scented with nicotine. However the hotel were happy to accommodate us with this change when we checked in. The doors are double to the balcony which is good for the busy street.   We chose to stay at Phidias Piraeus because we needed a hotel close to the port seeing we were taking a ferry at 7:25 am. Well they were wonderful! First, we got there early from our other location and we needed to get our rental car back to downtown Athens. They had no problem in letting us leave our luggage there while we took our car back.   I would recommend the stay in this hotel. We stayed there two times: at the beginning of the vacations when we started from Athens and at the end whenwe flew back home via Athens. The staff is amazing, so friendly and very helpful for anything a traveler might need!The breakfast is huge and offers a variety of food even for the picky ones!!!Would definitely stay again when visiting Athen
