  Friendly people, attention to detail, cleanliness, feeling of a family environment, nice location close to Olymbos mountains and the seaside, and did I mention friendly people? We stayed at this hotel just for one night during our road trip to northern greece. This was a very nice place, located on the hills of New Panteleimon. The hotel setting - - Great staff This is a family-run hotel and the owners, being extremely friendly and helpful, really make you feel at home there. I really liked their business model based on the notion that forfeiting short-term gains leads to long-term profits. For instance, they didn't say anything when I mistakenly paid €10 less for our room than I was supposed to. - Good food They serve some great food there.   The location is great, very close to the beach. In order to find it we had to ask, since it is inside Camping Heraklia and there are no signs on the main road. So you go into the Heraklia Beach gate, or you can go into Helena Apartments passage, either way you go straight forward to one of the two parking places in the shades. The manager, Mrs Zaharula - Excellent location, just 50m from the seaside. The beach is really nice, wide and sandy, just some small stones at the borderline with the sea. Water is very clean, no jelly fish or plants. The children adored it. The staff is very helpful. There is a small shop in the hotel where you can find everything. Also other shops in the neibourghood. We will certainly go back and for longer!!!

Simply decorated but has everything one might need - especially a separated and well-equipped kitchen (though an oven would be a welcomed addition). Two fish markets selling freshly-caught fish in a nearby village. - Helena Apartments is a wonderful place to stay right next to the beautiful sea. A morning swim before breakfast will give you full power for the day! Georgios (sp?) is a superb host. Be sure to have a chat and sample the homemade wine!
