The possibility to walk to Finikia through the fields in 20-30 minutes and to Oia in 45-60 minutes. Car or scooter otherwise recommended as bus transportation is diffucult.   We loved our time at Amoudi Villas and did not want to leave! The views are breathtaking. The location was also perfect: caldera-side, quiet, and outside of the fray of Oia (yet still just a short hike from the town.) - Not very good cliff view, but might be a good place to enjoy the sunset.
