  We arrived really late after an evening flight and were really happy that this hotel was so easy to find - even in the dark! Only a couple of minutes from Monasteraki underground station in the plaka area which is lively on a night and feels pretty safe : ) the room was clean and simple, and also had a balcony with an excellent view of the acropol... was die leute sagen » is... It took two of us to hold up the shutter to get out to the balcony ; ) but was a great view and completely unexpected for the price! A great bud - All the staffs are so nice and helpful. Very comfortable and clean room.Good location in the centre of the city, just a few minutes walk to the metro, the eymos (main street),the acropolis and the bus stop for X95 to the airport. Easy to find and safe surrounds. I've booked a simple room. Good price.

  The staff at athenstyle were very friendly and helpful, they made me feel welcome right from the beginning. The location was fantastic, right near the metro station and many poplar sites in athens, also very easy to find, the dorm rooms were spacious,clean and comfortable.   The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go
