  We were escaping the snow and were greeted by beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. It is an easy walk to the beach, albeit the road was steep and without sidewalks. Unbeknownst to us, we arrived about 3 weeks before tourist season opened. So, walking on the road was not a problem with no traffic.
