  The location is a little bit remote without a car, but this provides more privacy. I think it's a very nice location compare to the rather busier and noisier Oia or Fira. The view is superb and you can see both sunrise and sunset on both sides of the hotel. The service of the staffs are second to none.   The hotel is very very beautiful with the best location you can have in Santorini. We rented a Junior suit, with private jaccuzzi and it was just wonderful. Amazing sunset from your terrace, very nice bedroom. The owner is a ver nice person. Our host Loukas bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The suite was clean, modern and comfortable. Imerovigli is a 20-30 minute walk away from the capital (Thira) and has a couple of fantastic taverna's. I am not sure about the altitude, but Imerovigli village is one of the highest points of the island which allows a magnificent view of Oia and Thirasia.   We enjoyed everything about our stay at Merovigliosso. They were kind enough to pick us up from our previous accommodation in Fira and even gave us an early check in. Roula was fantastic and provided us with details about the area and recommendations for restaurants. She even gave us gifts including a complimentary bottle of wine. We only stayed here for 2 nights out of the - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Provided shuttle services from seaport/airport. We booked the option with breakfast. The breakfast was so good. They bring it to your room so you can enjoy it with the sea view. They gave us so much food, and we can order anything we like with no extra charge. We're always so full after the breakfast. :) (They said continental breakfast, but it's more like a hot breakfast!) Location is great, quiet and still able to see the sunset. Need to rent an ATV though

Great pools with sun beds, a bar where you can drink and eat very delicious food (you must try 'ntomatokeftedes' with the splendid view it means that you can stay all day long and do not move at all.
