She brought my clothes to a laundromat; mailed a rare fruit specimen (legally) to the United States; and when I lost my cellphone, picked it up (after I left Crete) and mailed it home. I was genuinely moved. The facilities at Madonna Studios are excellent, but the real difference is Thomais. - I liked the room which was big and bright, I could easily prepare my own dish as the cooker, coffee maker, kettle were provided or go to the tavern which was just across the street. the landlady was very helpful, kind and she even baked for us traditional cakes with cheese!! we had fresh flowers every day too.I stayed for 3 days and truly enjoyed it.

  As I could not find any comprehensive review on this hotel here is mine. Me and my wife (in our early 30ties) stayed in the hotel recently for 8 nights. The hotel is family run by two very friendly and welcoming brothers who sometimes joined by their father who is also very welcoming. Location is very convenient. Although in the residential - Relaxing rooftop terrace as there was not a swimming pool due to central location. Close proximity (2 minutes walk) to local harbour and sandy beach, great location and better value meals & drinks to old town. However the old town is only 5 minutes walk and a charming place.

The owner was very helpful in giving advice on what to see and how to get there. There were cooking facilities and a refrigerator in the room.   I stayed here for 8 days while travelling in early March, made to feel very welcome by Maria and Jannis. The apartment itself, very comfortable with very good facilities, including a small kitchenette with fridge, hot plate and small cooker. There are even laundry facilities too, very useful when travelling light. Car hire, bakers, - Maria, the owner is an absolute sweetheart! Don't have words enough to say how much we enjoyed the stay, her help and everything else. We were lost, so stopped in a corner and her son came to ask if I was looking for the apartment, we arrived very late, she received us with a big smile, gave us a map and explained everything.
