The location was absolutely stunning as you would expect if you stay on the Calderra. Right in the heart of Thira. The room which was very clean was also gorgeous and quirky which was brilliant. arrived, we didnt have high expectation because normally all the
hotels' room pictures in the websites are very different from what

Perfect view. You can see the harbor, the volcano and the island's outline. It's a very private hotel because it's not in the middle of a city: quiet and no crowds around the area.
The breakfast was not included (10€...), but we got a room with a kitchen, and we would cook our own breakfast and watch the gorgeous sights. There is also a LIDL supermarket very close if you need it.
We also got a car, and the hotel was in a convenient place in the island to visit every spot: Fira, Oia, Akrotiri, P

Very good location, 10 min walk from buzzing Fira but much more quiet.
Excellent view of the caldera from the shared balcony. Kosmas, the
owner, is kind and very helpful. Very good value for money, considering
how much others charge for the view, if you are willing to share it.
Tip: If you are budget conscious get a room without a view. The ones
with the view just have a window anyway and the balcony is what makes
it worth it.

The property was beautiful and very well maintained, the staff Michael and Filia were very welcoming and took care of whatever we needed. The breakfast on the veranda in the morning was a highlight for me, it beautiful and delicious. I loved the stunning view of the Caldera straight out of our suite!!! We stayed at Villa Ilias in June 2013 and couldn't be happier with
our choice.
Our room was on the pool level which we liked: we could hang out at the pool and reach for everything we needed in our room! The room is modern and clean, with a small kitchen and fridge which is perfect as eating in Santorini can be expensive.
The breakfast was simple but tasty, and the staff was really helpful with any questions we had. You can even borrow board games, books and movies, great service!
