  Der Besitzer Yiannis ist sehr freundlich. Er gibt Tipps und ist in allen Belangen sehr entgegen kommend. Ruhe und Erholung in der Vorsaison sind gegeben. Ein Bus fährt 2 Mal am Tag nach Chania, sehr empfehlenswerter Ort. Ein Leihwagen wäre sinnvoll, da Kalathas zwar 2 Supermärkte hat, aber kein Restaurant.   We only had a few hours at this hotel as our other hotel Kavos Beach Apartments could not provide facilities for a late check out, so we had to find another hotel near by at 8.30am just until 5pm when we headed for the airport. The welcome was marvellous, a glass of home made lemon juice and a chat with the owner.   A very good first impression of Crete gave me Mrs Lena and Mr Ilia, the hotel owners. If it is a measure of hospitality, they sure are on top, the atmosphere is not for a hotel, but "home", with their kindness, always with a smile on face, but especially with good advices for organizing my stay. These, along with other small attenti - We spend 3 days in this hotel and can not say how much we amaze by friendly and warm welcome of Mr. Ilia and Mrs. Lena. About the hotel: I love the place where we have breakfast every morning, it make me feel I just want to sit there, relax and go nowhere. I love 2 kitties. I love the view of sunset.
