  Our room was on the 5th floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the Rhine, which was perfect for us to sit and watch the boats go by. The room was well equipped, very clean, with even a hospitality tray - rare outside the uk. There was also free WiFi which was a nice bonus. Even though the Rhine had flooded the front of the Hotel and gardens it did not stop the Owner and the staff from running it well even though they were keeping back the Rhine . I should also mention that the owner speaks perfect english and had an interesting conversation with him covering various subjects in depth.   This was a great hotel. The room was small but very clean and efficient. The bathroom too was small, but everything worked wonderfully and it is so well vented that there is no steam after showering. We liked this hotel a lot.   I was really impressed with this hotel, considering the price, and that it was at a rest stop! Super clean, comfortable, quiet room with a nice balcony and view.   Location is good, within approx. 200m walking distance from the train station and similar distance to the city centre. Clean, air conditioned and good value for money.   The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. They were extremely attentive towards our dog. She got treats and water and was allowed to run around the fenced in garden. It was my birthday and they remembered and congratulated me. They made the day very special. Great restaurant with a view of castles and river. We had two rooms on separate floors. One was facing the front with great river and castle views. Second room was facing side, had balcony but you could still see the castles and river. Although the rooms were a little small, they were cosy, clean, and beds were comfy. Oh, and loved the little packs of gummy bears each night on the pillow.
