The apartment is the birth house of the famous 19th century painter Hans Thoma . Bernau offers splendid hiking roads and a wonderful surrounding for the nature lover. Is situated at 1000 metres high and the village Oberlehen , where the Hans-Thoma Haus lies , is at the edge of the village. It was built in 1755 and completely renovated in 2003. Now it offers accommodation to a spacious holiday home with two bedrooms and private balcony on the first floor. There is also a sunbathing- and playing meadow with garden furniture and a barbecue at your disposal for the nice days on the 4000 m large parcel.
