Short drive around will take you to the ski slopes as well as the authentic local must-dos such as visits to the Cuckoo clock outlets and tasting the Black Forest cakes. Highly recommended if you are a nature enthusiast. - Very cheap for a spacious apartment. It's set right in the midst of Black Forest. Walking trails all around. Host were very friendly, especially to children. Free use of public swimming pool (0.5km away). At night you can hear the stream and rustling of trees, and see the stars. Wonderful for nature.
