  Everything was lovely. We arrived late and the staff was very helpful and made us welcome. We were able to get seated in the restaurant before the kitchen closed but no one hurried us.   Stunning views from the room balcony. Liked the ambience of the hotel. The beach at Villefranche is awful and absolutely rammed with people as it is the only public beach for miles. Far better to use the hotels private beach across the bay. The decor of the room was sweet but a little dated as were the bathroom fitments. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the room was very clean. Villefranche-sur-Mer is lovely and has a train station for travelling to Nice, Monaco etc.
