  Driving in just before Christmas, with the chateau all lit up with fairy lights has become part of our family tradition. This stay was better than ever, although the restaurant was empty due to the credit crunch.   Location is in the rural forested area. You can walk, take a horse ride etc to explore the surrounds. We mostly chilled and lingered over one of their lovely dinners. The turkey escalope was really moist and with copious portions of home-made tasty chips (to die for) was a highlight, as well as the warm goats cheese on toast.
