  We were in a spacious ground floor room with lovely views from our patio door. The meal we reserved was taken under a canopy and was excellent and extremely good value with much of their own produce. A very peaceful setting up quite a long track.   Tolles Haus mit wunderbar geschmackvoller Einrichtung im Herzen des Dorfes. - A truly lovely place to stay. Christine and her husband Pascale greeted us with the warmth of old friends. She immediately took charge, installing us by the fire ( it was ferbruary) in her big Provencal style kitchen, offering us an apperitif and telephoning the restaur... was die leute sagen » arnt to tell them we would be late. We were taken up a stone and wrought iron staircase to a beautiful bedroom. As this is an old town house it was large and spacious. There was water, fruit and local nougart. Christine has an ey - Cote Lourmarin is a gem. We stayed in the smaller of the two rooms and it was perfect. The queen bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious (shower only in this bath, but the larger room has a bath tub and a shower). Each room also has its own toilette. The house has been beautifully renovated by the owner, Christine. We have visited the village of Lourmarin many times but this was our first trip during the winter. The town was less lively than some ghost towns we've seen in the Am

  This is a good value for money place to stay. Our room was large, clean and comfortable but not as prettily decorated as ones in the adverts. The thai restaurant has a lovely terrace and the food is good. The young waitress was particularly friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Great views to the Luberon hills, situated in its own park, but within 150 yards of the centre of Lourmarin, one of the most beautiful villages in the region - a great village to both visit and to stay in (which I would not say for some of the more familiar names of Gordes and Rousillon). From a design background this is something you would expect to see in The World of Interiors magazine. We had the whole place to ourselves, so nice. The log burning fire at breakfast was such a lovely touch. The rooms are very large and the bed is enormous. I can't recommend this place enough. The local town has lots of restaurants swell. A lovely country stay. GO!
