  The staff were excellent - friendly, efficient and helpful. We dined in the hotel both nights and the food was of a very high standard. The position is good - about 10 minutes walk downhill to the heart of Port Vendre, and 15 minutes back. We also liked it's historical artistic connections & the huge number of original paintings sculptures and artworks on display on all floors of the hotel including the bar.
