  The staff were excellent - friendly, efficient and helpful. We dined in the hotel both nights and the food was of a very high standard. The position is good - about 10 minutes walk downhill to the heart of Port Vendre, and 15 minutes back.   We stayed only two nights as a quick weekend holiday away from home in the south of France. We were not disappointed. The hotel ,although in the centre of the town,is tucked away down a side alley which made it very convenient for just about all your needs,but also made it very quiet. It's a longish drag with the suitcases but a safe place to leave the vehicle.
