  The location was great - a short walk from Gare du Nord, close to many good budget-minded cafes, and incredible jazz clubs. The view from the sixth floor (i.e. seventh) was wonderful. Rather nice facilities for the money, good beds, nice breakfast.

  Very approachable and friendly staff - I felt very welcome. Pretty room with a nice wooden beam feature from the original building, in a quiet area with a window which opens out into a splendid courtyard below.
