Nice hotel. Staff was VERY helpful, upgrading our room when we determined that although it was a private shower, it was a shared toilet. Great location, breakfast too. GREAT kitty in lobby!
Creaky floor in (first) room. Small. Larger room was much better.
great location, very tidy, friendly staff and near lots of dining place.
have shower in my double room but toilet is shared with other rooms.
Perfect everything, especially the cute cat.
Location. Good to stay for a couple of nights as the room we booked is the cheapest and therefore tiny. Love the balcony. The tiny lift is pretty amazing but it does the job.
The price but then again this is Paris. Accommodation is expensive.
The hotel was clean, the bathroom adequate-plus, the staff nice (especially the men.) the location was great, although 2 of the nights we were there - with our grand-daughter - there was a very loud man outside at 5am
The beds were very ordinary. Cheap, hard mattresses. We put the bedsreads under the sheets for extra support and that helped. But for that reason we wouldn't stay there again.
Location, cleanliness and helpfulness of staff
Nothing
1. We've got a room on the last floor with a Patio :-) So great! Very romantic!!! 2. Clean, and nice bed. There was a desk in the room. Not a too small Parisian room. 3. Just around the corner each restaurant is nice for a dinner. If you want you can have non-French meal as well. About 50-60 EUR for 2 with wine. 4. Walking distance to both directions of Montmartre (15 min) and Southern attractions (25 min): Opera, Concorde, Louvre et al.
1. I'm not from overseas, but it's a real struggle in Paris in the middle of August without air-conditioner. 2. PARKING! Nobody at reception knew where to park a car, how much it is, what are the rules of parking in Paris and so on... 38 EUR per 24h at Bourse underground parking; 14 EUR per night from 21:00 till 07:00. In the street Sunday parking is free of charge.
Staff location cleanleness near public transprtation
They need to have a minibar in the room
Location
Parisiennes
Location is perfect and the staff is really helpfull
small rooms, but this is expected for the location and price.
Location, location, location and the name - this was an ego trip for me as my name s Vivienne too
Toilet was down the hall. If they can manage a shower in your room, why not a toilet too??
We had 2 exceptional helpful men at the Front Desk
The room size was good enough for a family. The room was quiet and clean. The location is excellent.
Although the room was clean the toilet itself was not that clean.
Good location and friendly staff
toilet not in room, but close
Friendly staff, amazing room
Everything! I really can't fault this hotel. It was clean, our room was spacious, it was really central and at a really good price, the staff were pleasant and basically it had everything we needed. I would most definitely stay here again.
The only thing I didn't like was that the staff insist on taking your key off you every time you leave, I guess so you don't lose it. However when you ask for it back they don't usually ask any security questions so I didn't feel it was all that safe. But it was fine, nothing was taken from our room so I didn't need to worry.
All good!!
good location, nice staff
Near to M3 ( Bourse station ), M8 & M9 ( Grand Boulevards Station ) to start your paris expedition. But hey who cares for the trains, you can walk around until you reach at eiffel tower. Isnt it amazing? The reception on duty were very accomodating esp the guy, i forget the name "sorry" who always has a smile whenever we ask a hot water everytime we arrive late in the evening.
The hotel staff were super friendly and the hotel itself was lovely and clean. The room was lovely and clean and the bathroom was spotless :) I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Paris again in the future.
Very good location. Decently sized rooms for the price.
Bathroom was a bit industrial and didn't have proper shower head.
The location is definitely great just 10-12 minutes to Louvre. There's plenty of places one can eat at around the hotel's area. Also, I had a nice view from the window - the Eiffel tower!
Nothing in particular. Well, maybe the elevator was a bit scary :)
Friendly personel
Lovely staff, great value for money, the cat!
Helpful staff Excellent breakfast Use of computer for airport check in
Street noise on Saturday night
Amazing, cozy Hotel with friendly, attentive staff and gorgeous cat - Mr Romeo :) Lovely place! We enjoyed the trip and our comfortable accommodation! Merci Beaucoup! ~ ~ ~
Location and warm welcome
No particular dislikes
Location is ideal. Breakfast is good, especially the orange juice
Noise outside, not the fault of anyone at Vivienne.
The hotel has character, it's not a bland chain but full of the idiosyncrasies of a Parisian hotel.
Stuff was very friendly. As long as you at least try to speak french everybody is very helpful. The hotel is very central and one is able to walk to most of the attractions. Rooms are small but clean.
Dusty floor in the hall.
The staff were excellent. The main receptionist was very friendly and helpful. They were also fantastic with small children and also very helpful with information/directions. Coffee was divine! Would definately stay here again.
Staff very helpful Good location Nice sized room
Bed mattress like most hotels a bit basic
the location, near opera house and not far from louvre
my room's next door is a public toilet, very noisy in the morning
The location is good... about 200m from Metro 'Grand Boulevard' - take exit 3. Wifi worked well, though you need separate codes for each device. The room is basic, but sufficient for short stays.
The toilet is communal! And no wash basin in the toilet!!!! I stayed on a Saturday night, with the room facing the street. Though the street is a side street and quiet in terms of traffic... there was constant noise and yelling until 6am
the value of money is good
no air conditioner and the bath room is too small
The night clerk was very helpful. The hotel was very clean.
No air conditioner! It was 92 degrees and having a floor fan is just not good enough.
Very great location, staff helpful, very easy to get around.
Bed very uncomfortable and had people in our room, then they put us in very same room without getting it cleaned, bed had obviously been sat on
Good location but i suggest the opera area.
Room is very small
Receptionist on arrival very unfriendly. A smile and welcome would of been nice. Room unbearably hot/stuffy-full sun. Room in need of general maintenance
This hotel is a fraud. The room we got was completely different from the one shown on the letsbookhotel.com site. The one shown on the site was large and romantic. The one we got was like a small jail room. I had to pay the full amount even though the hotel clerk, which was a summer student, understood our problem. A total, total fraud.
in city center.
no airconditioner in summer it was horrible. room is so small. toilet public. the female staff in the morning was not polite. while the male staff was nice. cost so much. with this price, I'd prefer choosing a 3 star hotel with airconditioner in the 15th. zone.
