  Very friendly & helpful staff, buffet-style breakfasts included cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurts, bread, croissants, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange-juice. Location is good for exploring the D-Day Landing sites, 2 minutes from the American Cemetary. Adequate parking outside each "chalet room". Abour 1 hour drive fro... was die leute sagen » m Caen. The on-tap beer is good quality. 10 minutes drive to restaurants / snack bars. We didn't dine there at lunchtime but it was busy then. Showers - We originally booked the room with the sauna and didn't realise that it didn't have a fridge or jug etc, as we were staying five days it wasn't suitable so after one night we changed to a one bedroom apartment ith kitchen washing machine etc. This was fantastic and made our stay much more enjoyable. We had lunch here a couple of times and they ere great. The staff were helpful, weather fantastic so we made use of the lovely pool. Close to all the Normandy beaches and museums.

  We stayed at this B&B for D-day landing trip. The location has easy access to get to Omaha beach, Point du Hoc, Utah beach and Bayuex. What we liked the most about this accomodation was the owners. The couple were very sincere, generous and kind (All the French people in Normandy were very nice anyway). We felt like we were just visiting our o... was die leute sagen » wn family in rural area. The room we stayed were humble and small but it was clean and relaxing. Children must like the garden with a few play equipme - The family room was excellent because there was plenty of room and the children had their own sleeping area. Breakfast was great especially the homemade jams. Everyone can use the well-equipped kitchen to make meals, picnics etc, which was great. Colleville-sur-Mer has easy access to the Normandy landing beaches, Port en Bessin and Bayeux.
