  Les Belles de Mai is a comfortable renovated home in the heart of Pontorson, within easy walking distance to excellent restaurants, and located only 10 kilometers from Mont St-Michel. The owner speaks fluent English and was very helpful in providing us with information about visiting Mont St-Michel. The home has a lovely garden with seating that guests can enjoy on a warm day. While - Beatrice was a wonderful host: upon arrival, she provided several pamphlets outlining various attractions. The room was a wonderful surprise: very elegantly decorated and it really showed Beatrice's attention to detail. Everything was provided, from bath robes to cotton pads and Q-tips. It was definitely a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was also equally as impressive with the large and impressive spread that Beatrice provided. I would highly recommend this B&B!

  Very friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff. Everything is nice and clean. A good value for the money. Realistic advertise of the place and no bad surprises; just as expected! Marilyn has beautifully renovated this old building into a warm and welcoming home....very inspiring. Intimate home stay as there is only one room let out to guests......lovely.

  Great place!!! Very quiet. Tomoko and Damien were very kind and atencious with us. They care about little things, like having water and coffe in the bedroom, which is very big and confortable. The bathroom is enormous too with shower and toilet separeted.   The hospitality of the owner was first class. We had the use of a kitchen, fridge, kettle etc. It was a perfect base for exploring the area. It was a very peaceful, comfortable experience.

  We were very happy to have found La Jacotiere, especially after walking through the very commercial-looking hotel portion of the town which is directly in the line of sight of Le Mont Saint Michel. Neon and bright red hotel signs lit the relatively quiet street nearest to Le Mont Saint Michel's access causeway. Friendly. Owner gave us great advice go to Mt Saint Micheal when we arrived at sunset. Hardly any crowds, we watched tide come in and shuttle bus runs till midnight. Spectacular views all evening. We ate on the Mont at a restaurant were there 5-11PM. In the am 40 tour buses were there at 9:30. so glad we did not wait till morning to go. P.S Tour De France rides past B&B 7/9/13.

  The owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome upon our early arrival, giving us a complimentary cuppa & croissant, then dropping us off in her car at village close to a walkway to allow a shorter walk to Le Mont St Michel. The room we stayed in was spacious and extremely well presented, warm & inviting. I would recommend staying here. - It was the best bed and breakfast I've ever stayed in, rooms were big and comfortable, breakfast was fresh and tasty, the owner Catherine was really lovely and made you feel very welcome and was very helpful. Loulou her assistant (the dog) was really lovely also. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting this area. The pictures on the web does not do it justice as the place in my opinion was excellent throughout. I would definitely stay there again.

Close to parking lot for Le Mont St-Michel - now you have to park far enough (about 2 miles), and they provide shuttle transportation to the island. At first we couldn't find the location and call him to ask for the direction, and he immediately say he will pick us up by his own car ! It's extremely warm! The room is clean and well-decorated. Everything is included (Hairdryer, shampoo) which I appreciate very much.
