  Wir haben ein paar Tage in der Nebensaison bei einem wunderbaren Vermieterpaar in einer für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekten Fereinwohnung verbracht. Sie geben wertvolle Tipps, um das Haus gibt es viele gemütliche Rückzugsmöglichkeiten (falls man nicht so sportlich ist) und in die Stadt ist es nicht weit. They provided invaluable local knowledge about the region. Facilities provided in the apartment were more than adequate. - A great welcome from the hosts on our arrival - genuinely nice people. We had to cut our stay shorter than we liked but through no fault of Les Camélias.

  Very newly renovated with great attention to detail. Fantastic location right on the main square in the beautiful,relaxed yet vibrant Mont Dore. My first choice of base from which to explore the volcanic region. Lovely views and stunning walks just meters from the apartment. Excellent value for money.

Neither bedside light worked, so I pointed this out to the lady on reception. She immediately sent up a repair man who fixed it by plugging in the lamps to the wall socket - whoops. Breakfast was quite grand but a little pricey at €9 each. We sampled this on the first morning, then went across the road to PifPaf where a breakfast with go - One of the better French 2star hotels. We would definitely go there again. Quiet setting with large garden well equipped for relaxing. Small indoor pool. Lift. Comfortable clean bedrooms plenty of space, bath/shower room. Good breakfast in large sunny room with attentive service. Friendly helpful staff speak some English.   Kitchen was the best-equipped I have seen for such apartments, and immaculate. Charming decor. Lots of room to unpack. Nice high ceilings and other features of an older building. Quiet street but an easy walk to shops and attractions. Great space for a family. Great to have laundry.
