  As an academic I have attended conferences all over Europe and beyond. I always book 3 star hotels, as I prefer the personal touch which I find missing in 4 or 5 star places. Only 4.5 ks from the Eiffel Tower & the same from the louvre. Probably one of the cheapest hotels in Paris.

  I am woman, 30 years old and I have traveled alone for 2 weeks in Paris. I chose Cujas Pantheon firstly because of its location which is central and near main streets. This fact made me feel really safe to came back to the hotel at night. The team was kindly since the reception until helping with useful informations as I needed. The value for quality is excellent in a city where you often have to pay top price for mediocre accomodations and service. My room this time (302) was very quiet and facing the courtyard. Free - Hotel du Home Moderne is an excellent value, clean and comfortable with modern amenities. We were particularly impressed with the staff. Guillume and Jennifer, who manned the front desk, were outstanding. They always went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. At the buffet breakfast, Lore managed the breakfast room with efficiency and good humor. We also enjoyed the non-touristy neighborhood, which has lots of little shops and cafes and is conveniently located near transportation.

To reach the hotel : take the direct line from airport to station Denfert-Rochereau and then 10 min walk by Arago Bld, to take a right turn to Corvisart street then.
