Maybe not the best area in Paris to stay, but an easy Metro ride to any other places you may wish to visit. I sent an email to the hotel a few days before arrival and asked if were is a possibility to get a room with a view to the street, they replied very quickly and told me that if such a room will be available on the date of our arrival, they will save it for us. The room they had assigned to me for the initially booked stay had had a smoker in it - I was moved to a very nice room immediately, no question. Breakfast was fine for me. Bed was comfortable. Table/desk in the room allowed me to work comfortably when necessary. Location was excellent. I was entirely pleased and shall book there the next time I return to Paris
