  Lovely warm welcome as we arrived. The setting is lovely, in the countryside but also handy for the autoroute. The room was clean and fresh and we had two, yes two, pillows each - not square but 'proper' pillows on the bed! Not only are the rooms very generous but guests are encouraged to use the lounge areas and dining room. My wife was in heaven reading in front of an open fire on a late autumn evening and this was topped off by being served tea in good ch - My host Christopher could not have been nicer. Tea on arrival by the fire and a delicious dinner later. Everything has been done in the nicest way and was stylish and spotlessly clean. Great breakfast in the morning and I was allowed to stay late and then be whisked to the station. All with a smile and no extra charge. Great place to stay
