  We loved the room which was a converted priory complete with vaulted ceiling and chandelier. It was across the lane from the cathedral which was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. It was a really quiet location with a comfortable bed. It was a great base for visiting the Somme battlefields - The location of the hotel is excellent fo... was die leute sagen » r exploring the city and bars/restaurants. The staff were welcoming and, having made a request for additional bedding, this was sorted very quickly. Despite being located next to the cathedral the room was well sound proofed. Parking is close by.

  The hotel is well-situated, and typical of an older french hotel. Although it looks a little tired in places, it is very clean, the rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel also benefits from having a bar and restaurant, although we only had breakfast, which was very good. Visitors should be aware that the Rue de Noyon is a pedestrian walkway so cars cannot stop ou - The Le Carlton is in a great location within walking distance of the train station, cathedral and city centre. The room that we had was spacious, clean and we appreciated the double glazing. The staff were amazing and I would like to congratulate them on being the most helpful, professional and pleasant people that we have dealt with. For example they went out of their way to assist us when our Somme Tour operator didn't arrive at the designated time.

  We spent two nights at the beautiful La Maison d' Euphrasie whilst visiting the battlefields of the Somme and Amiens city recently. This guest house is exceptional: it is elegantly furnished with comfortable rooms and good showers. It was a pleasure to share Dominique's home for this short time. On arrival we were welcomed warmly and we sat in the sunshine in the charmin - On arrival the owner personally made us very welcome and made us a welcoming drink. She was very apologetic that we couldn't have a twin bedded for so gave us a room each which was wonderful.(2 single women)Lovely rooms and comfortable beds. We were served fresh nectarines with fresh mint for breakfast- very memorable- sitting in the beautiful garden. Walking into Amiens to see the Son et Lumiere is a must- spellbinding.We were only there one night but I would go every night if I was there and

  Our stay at the La Cour 26 was magical, not only did we get treated faboulesly, but they went out of thier to make sure our stay was as comfortalbe and remembrable.
