Schön dekoriertes Haus - einfach zum wohlfühlen. - We stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais from the Vendee. It is in an ideal location, not far from Bayeux and the Normandy Beaches. We had the Comfort Double Room which was gorgeous, a really comfortable double four poster bed. The decor is very tasteful with a modern en-suite bathroom with shower and bath and fluffy towels. We we - Chambres d'Hotes le Clos de la Croix is a beautiful bed-and-breakfast in a small picturesque village of Carcagny. We were given a warmhearted welcome from the very beginning of our visit - the same feeling stayed throughout the whole visit. The hosts, Gilles and Michael (and beautiful dog Galopin) are just amazing personalities. The room we stayed was spacious and tidy, and we did have our own bathroom with shower and tub. Breakfast consisted of freshly baked sweet component, toasts and jams,

  The hotel was fresh, clean and new with efficient friendly staff at a brilliant budget price. The room was spotless with comfy beds which were cleaned and made up despite us only staying 2 nights. The layout of the room was very clever and made excellent use of the space making the room feel bigger despite a double, single bunk and cot being prese... was die leute sagen » nt. - It was a great place to stay for what we needed and staff was very friendly and helpful, price was right, our only complaint was that we didn't realize it was out of Bayeux approx. 4Kms and we didn't have a rental car (and there weren't any to rent in town) so we needed to taxi everywhere and that got a bit pricey.
