  This was one of my favorite places I stayed in my 5 weeks of travel. It was superlative in terms of cleanliness, orderliness, value for the money, and the beautiful surroundings did not hurt. Overall the hotel has an unusually cheerful and uplifting feel that is rare in a hired room, particularly for this price. Bedroom big enough for 3 adults and dog, without shuffling round each other. Bathroom also very good size. Staff extremely helpful. Nice little bar area for a nightcap. Didn't try breakfast as we had an early train, but area looked clean and pleasant. Would stay again.

  Our second visit to the hotel and unlikely to be our last! Very clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, secure parking (tho not free!) and not of course the restaurant! - Easy garage parking/hotel access, good pool, pleasant room, greatbreakfast. Good location - only stayed one night on way to south so willgo again to try restaurant.

  A great place to stay. Staff were very helpful. We forgot a plug adaptor and they kindly loaned us one. Breakfast was great. Worth the money. Room was very comfy we stayed in a family room. It hadthe two single beds in a single but joined room. Nice to have privacy for the adults. Super restaurants in the area made dining out a fab adventure. We would definately visit again and have already passed the details to friends. - Although the hotel looks like a chain hotel, inside the feel is of a family run hotel where care for the customer comes first; and I am prepared to forgive the tatty carpet, etc, because of that! Breakfast good and generous in its variety. Particularly like the view of the town, far, far better than from and of the hotels in the town, and still only 150 meters from the centre. My best find for years.

The room was stunning both in decor, comfort and size - more like a suite. We will definitely recommend to friends and we will return next time we come - We have stayed in many places over the years in and around Boulogne, and La Belle Haute was by far the best. A large, warm, comfortable room, ditto bed, shower. Faultless wifi, great breakfast - fresh o.j., local free-range eggs, good bread and croissants (not thawed/microwaved), cheese, cake (home-made), French toast etc. - such care and thoughtfulness shown by our hostess. Set in the old town with restaurants close by - l'ilot vert was excellent. Easy parking in December.
