  The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to look after us. The hotel itself was picture perfect, nestled along a quaint street just yards away from the magnificent cathedral.   It’s comfortably close to downtown Bayeux and the train station, being located on the margin of the city. Based on comments from other reviewers, I was spooked about getting there on time to get my key. We arrived at 22:00 and the front desk had closed at 21:00.
