  The whole experience - our third stay in as many years, and as pleasurable as our earlier ones. It remains our first choice.   This is a small gite in The elegant artist village of barbizon. It is great for an intermedient stop. The home owner is very welcoming and the rooms are very modern.   We liked the spaciousness of the room and the breakfast area/reading or tv area. It was a very large room with separate tables for breakfast and relaxing. The room itself was immaculate and large. One might not like the decor but that is a personal taste and was fine with us.   Near Barbizon which is a lovely little town with good restaurants. When shops were closed and we asked for a supermarket to buy a bottle of wine, the landlord offered us a nice bottle from his cellar. Apparently without charge. This is real service!
