  lovely place with very nice owner who went out of her way to accomodate us when we arrived early from our long journey . The food was excellent in the restaurant and the service very good and very good vakue for money . When the owner knew that we were only 3 travellers but had booked a room for up to 4 she reduced the price which I thought was ... was die leute sagen » very good of her. the location is lovely in a small french village and the manor house itself is typically french with the old style furniture , but - Our host was most welcoming and helpful and accommodating as we arrived liked drowned rats, with bikes, which we were able to store safely indoors. This was a lovely place in every way.The meals were delicious. Our host was only to keen to help us with our onward arrangements in helping us to reach our goal of cycling to the Eiffel Tower! Thanks Brigitte!We made it!

  An attractive old town house in a quiet location. Sophie Perrin is an enthusiastic and entertaining hostess. The bedroom on the first floor was spacious, comfortable and overlooked the large rear garden. The ensuite bathroom was well equipped. The evening meal, which we had requested in advance, was delicious and imaginative, using many ingredient... was die leute sagen » s from the garden. There was no menu, so we enjoyed a series of culinary surprises. Breakfast was also very good. The overall cost of the stay was - Everything. Gorgeous breakfast with mainly homemade products. Sophie was an attentive and generous host and we warmed to her which made out stay even better. We had a really relaxing time in the spacious double bedroom and well appointed en-suite and an afternoon in the beautiful garden. The village is quiet but we ate well at both the pizzieria and the restaurant. We would highly recommend.

  This Auberge is in a wonderful location, the gardens are beautiful. Our room was fine with a balcony and view of the garden. Breakfast was OK for the price. There is also an excellent bar across the road which agreed to make the four of us some food as the restaurant at the Auberge was fully booked ( see negative comments). - Excellent hotel clo... was die leute sagen » se to both beaches and countryside. The Hotel garden is lovely with terraces alongside the river which passes through it. Rooms are good with views of garden and river. Restaurant is top class with a very interesting menu at affordable prices. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice.
