  Die Pension ist sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Krumlov gelegen. Sie hat zwar nur 4 Zimmer, diese haben aber einen ganz besonderen Charme durch die alten Holzbalken, welche überall zu sehen sind. Auch das Frühstück, welches aufs Zimmer gebracht wird, war absolut ok für das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder die Pension Stranin... was die leute sagen » ger buchen! - Die Lage ist schlichtweg sensationell; die Erreichbarkeit vom Parkplatz (wenn man den richtigen wählt) ist gut.   Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They went out of their way to help us locate places around Kordova Hut. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. The price is ok for that region(60 Eu/night - if you search harder there is probably cheaper options in Pisek), and we were very happy with the overall conditions of the hotel. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the center of town, and there is also some nature trails directly east - Loved sunroom-like room w/ small balony, nice wall color and coordinating bed linens. Breakfast area was so cozy with patterned china. We were made an omlet to order, we felt like were were visiting a friends home. Room very clean with modern ammenities. Very short drive to center. Nice nature preserve next door for long walks.

  This is a wonderful hotel located in the heart of the city, right off the pedestrian zone. With that said, do not attempt to the front door. Turn into a parking area through the "Red Gate" and you will find stairs in the far left corner leading to the hotel. Parking is about 200m from the hotel because of the hotels great location. Breakfast was super w - We enjoyed our stay at U Zamku very much. Petr was a most welcoming and friendly host, helping with parking on arrival and numerous other things during our stay. He even posted a tripod stand, which we had left behind, to our next hotel. The location is wonderful, right under the castle, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts very good. Two sides with windows to provide great brightness. Wood floor is very comfortable to step on. Baby bed is kindly prepared. Kind instruction by the staff to unload our luggage and park our car at the right place. Great location in the city center, very close to all attractions. Wash machine is provided to wash our clothes. A big value for us. Great value. Great place to stay.

  I've stayed at this property 2 previous times before starting in 2001. The location and type of "castle b & B" you can't beat it. It's right next to the great historic town brewery. Nice quiet location away from the main roads so you can get a nice night sleep.   Sehr freundlicher Empfang, eigentlich war schon Mittagspause, wir konnten dennoch einchecken. Sehr schönes Hotel, liebevoll eingerichtet, ideale Lage in Krummau. Sehr zu empfehlen.
