Very unusual architect-designed house on 3 levels (no lift, if stairs are a problem for you) that overlooks greenery & trees. Lovely sitting-out areas and an excellent, light & airy breakfast room. We only stayed for a night but the hotel room and accomodation was great. The staff was helpful in giving us a map and directions to downtown Zagreb. It will take you a 20 min tram ride to get to the city center. The breakfast the next morning was great. Overall, it's a value for money and I would recommend it if you're on a budget and don't want to pay for parking.

It was a glass wall, the batheoom had no window and the other room had a small window to the coridor. Liked verry - As business consultant I can tell to all potential visitors coming to ZAGREB: Hotel ILICA - can be a case study for all young hotel managers of how to get benefits from hotel with very limited possibilities. I can recommend it for businessmen, turists who do not like ARTIFICIAL "keep smiling" and prefer very open minded and sincere attitude of hotel staff. These guys really like to serve and help...Nothing to do with trained "robots".
