  When you first arrive, especially if at night, you may think you've made a horrible mistake. The outside of the apartment is not very promising. However, once inside, you may never want to leave. We loved our 2-bedroom apartment and immediately started talking about wanting our place back home to be more like it. This is a beautifully restored old building with a great view of the park; near bars, shopping and transportation (tram). The rooms are huge, high ceilings, grand style, modern and very comfortable. Host is friendly and very helpful. Would strongly recommend for visitors to Zagreb; can't be beat for price. We also were able to park in courtyard which was very convenient!

Very unusual architect-designed house on 3 levels (no lift, if stairs are a problem for you) that overlooks greenery & trees. Lovely sitting-out areas and an excellent, light & airy breakfast room. There was ample choice of things for breakfast, both hot and cold. Very good value f - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was great. I could tell that the people who run this hotel really care about the hotel and the guests. It was a perfect and restful night's sleep for a layover in Zagreb.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The showers were great with lots of hot water. The room was basic with just 2 beds & lockers but very clean. It was a 10 minute walk to Old Town and the tram stops, farmers market and grocery store were all just round the corner. The hostel is about 250m down on the left side of the street in a little alcove area - A hostel with ideal location - right in the very center of the city. The room was clean and with the basic facilities. The personel was helpful. It is more suitable for younger people or for open-minded mature couples since there is no option for en suite bathroom. However, the location and the amiable atmosphere make the Brit Hostel a place of choice for Zagreb.

  This is a relatively new hotel. ALthough it is is a little out of town it is good if you want to experience life in a more authentic local setting. The double room I had was very comfortable and a decent size. The steak restaurant in the hotel is quite decent as well. The wifi was reliable an - Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Big rooms with good air con and very comfy beds. Great bathroom. The restaurant downstairs had a very good menu and great tasting food, we only wanted a small meal having eaten lunch already, and you could order smaller portions of many things on the menu. 10% was offered to hotel guests plus a free dessert!   Me and my girlfriend was staying in Henrik Apartments for one night. It was really nice. Owners are very friendly , they gave us a map of city Zagreb and told us some key informations about city and recommended some great restaurants. Yes the dog was barking, but it wasn't so enjoying, dog is very very old and you cannot blame him :) Of course al... was die leute sagen » l other stuff, it was clean, breakfast was wonderful, natural and healthy, and the room was all new and modern furnished. So we definitely will return - The room was very comfortable with many touches that are often overlooked in a cheap place (hair dryer, stylish furnishings, comfy bed). The staff was excellent, very friendly (with the exception of the woman who cleaned the rooms who refused to smile or respond when I said dobra jutra). My only complaint was loud construction starting at 6:45am and dogs barking all morning. Also the stairs leading to the second floor flat were terrifying.

  First, Ina, the hotel receptionist we dealt with the most, was fantastic. We asked her if she could help us find a rental car on short notice and she made phone calls for 30 minutes to track one down for us. I tried tipping her for it, and she refused -- which made me want to tip her even more! Anyways, so her service was great.   The most friendly stuff I've ever met! They helped us in everything (e.g. one of them arranged even the paying for parking via her mobile phone while we were sleeping :) and after that she helped us to find one of the few free parking places around the hostel. We got a free welcome shot (some local honey schnaps) etc. The room is small but perfect... was die leute sagen » for 2-3 nights, the place is quiet. So everything was absolutely fine! And we even got a great tip where to spend our next summer holiday in Croatia. - Funk Lounge is the best hostel we visited on our trip! Everything was perfect! We enjoyed friendly atmosphere, room was very clean and nice. People working there are helpful, positive and they gave us lots of advices about Zagreb and Croatia. Hostel is very good located, 5 min tram ride to the central square or 15min by foot. There is beautiful park just near hostel.
