  great stay - spacious apartament with quite well equipped kitchen (but no kettle available!), close to the rocky beach, quiet (provided you like countryside noise of neighbouring rooster, we did :-)).   Great location in part of the old town just 25 meters from the atmospheric harbour side and an easy walk with luggage from the bus station. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants with reasonably priced food nearby if you fancy a change from the excellent ‘fayre’ served in the restaurant at street level below the apartment.   The owners were wonderful people. They went out of the way to make this a fantastic trip. He helped us get a ride into town and back again for a super low price. Ordered pizza for us when we arrived in the late evening and gave us a glass of wine the moment we walked in the door. The breakfast was delicious. The welcomed us with a nice glass of wine and sent us off with a nice gift as well. The apartment had a fantastic view of the ocean and the breeze sitting on the terrace was amazing. The breakfasts were excellent and there are many nice restaurants in Rovinj. The beach was a 5 min walk and it is not overly crowded (we visited in mid July).

  The open-plan apartments have been beautifully renovated with exposed beams and partial brickwork. The décor has been chosen to color co-ordinate for each apt. individually. Rooms are clean, spacious and functional with plenty of drawer and hanging space. It is a 15 minute walk into the Old Town from the apt. She suggested a very good restaurant, Mae - We were 4 friends travelling together and had the top floor 2 studios with kitchenettes. It was perfect and Elena, who manages the apartments was just fantastic. She was more than helpful with information and advice and helping us plan excursions and had great knowledge of the area. It is about 10 minutes to the old town which is great as it is quiet and more residential and there is parking for cars. Just a plus in my opinion!!!
