The staff were very pleasant and assisted me with professionalism. I arrived just after my check-in time and was able to book for an additional night with no difficulty. The room was comfortable and clean and I had a good night's rest. The next day I awoke to snow. I got ready to go out and clear off my car when there was a knock at my door. The gentleman needed my car moved so he could clear the rest of the parking area. He was very kind and offered to move my car for me - he had already c.
alle bewertungen » Travelled solo from California usa for four nights in Stratford, staff went above and beyond to make sure all my reservation requests were fulfilled before I arrived, due to room availability I was able to be checked-in early and at no extra charge, room was well temperature controlled, no outside noise heard in the room including sounds from the rainy weather and wind during my stay, close to convenience store and fast food, high-speed Wi-Fi internet access was available at no extra cost, not . This is a fantastic motel for the price!! It was equal to Motels that we've stayed at that were 3 -4 times the price. Very pleasant and easy check in. Room was EXCELLANT! I Has very good sound insulation. There were people on both sides of us. I talked to them and they were both watching TV late at night and we didn't hear anything. Very close to Festival Theatre. which is a great plust! Out of 5 stars I would rate them as 7!!!. Very nicely renovated suite with ceramic tile in bath, granite counters and table tops, sophisticated colour scheme, comfy beds, fridge, easy walking distance to theatres and downtown. Free Wifi, Excellent value for money. Will definitely return. Clearly an old fashioned motel but it had character, with an entrance hall, and windows on the front, back and in the bathroom. The outside didn't do it justice - people might not realize there is a gem behind that ordinary exterior. Now the motel needs to update the outside to attract more business. Would have used a microwave if there was one...and no extra pillows...Older people use more then one pillow to elevate their body. Needs a bench for luggage... -All of the lamps were unplugged, and I had to move furniture in order to plug them in-not a bit deal-it was just not something that I wanted to deal with at that particular time. Ran out of toilet paper. No complaints. The motel said there was internet, but the signal was very weak and we kept losing the signal. Breakfast choices were coffee, orange juice, and a muffin - not what we expected. No exercise facilities. Lighting in room was poor. Outside appearance could be spruced up a little. Owner/manager was downright surly. Dated furnishings and overall maintenance and upkeep. No heat on arrival. Got noisy space heater at 9 pm.
