  The rooms were great! Soft lightbulbs, not clinical white.. Nice and bright lighting. Whole room was very warm and attractive. Beds, sheets and pillows were very nice, room layout was very friendly. The sink and closet - all of it was very good for the price. For the money I doubt you'd find anything better :) - Our trip was to help our son relocate to Victoria from Edmonton. It took a few days to move into an apartment so they switched him to a room with kitchenette; (even on-site washer/dryer) with everything he ciuld have needed and spotlessly clean. The decor looked new, possibly just well maintained. Staff very friendly, gave us the room for a good weekly rate, great location just 5 minutes drive from Downtown. Would definitely return to this hotel.

  When we arrived Christy Zheng greeted us. She was professional and covered off all the information we needed to know and sent us off to our room in an efficient manner.   We had a corner room with two windows and a balcony overlooking the inner harbor. The room was lovely with plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also helpful and friendly.   The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals. Would like to receive any promotional rates email... was die leute sagen » s as I would like to stay again if I could afford it. - The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. The food was excellent!

  We've never slept on as luxurious and comfy beds as those in our room at the Days Inn in Nanaimo. It was like sleeping on a cloud! (The mattress cover and duvet were down-filled!) Our room was clean and very nice, with a big-screen TV, air conditioner, coffee machine and lots of shampoo/conditioner, lotion and soaps in the bathroom. After traveling for close to two weeks it was nice to have guest laundry which was accessible and clean. they even offered to provide the laundry soap.

Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night.   Wow what a fabulous place. I couldn't believe how big our suite was, more like an apartment.We had a full kitchen as well. The seating area was really comfortable and we had views over the harbour. There was also a hot tub on the balcony which was great just right for watching the sunset. Near to whale watching companies as well. - The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.
