  We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting out on the decks overlooking Lac Sable and later swimming there.(Beach access included in the price of the room) - Everything was really good!   The staff were very helpful with any number of things; aiding with parking a vehicle, expediting check-in/check-out procedures, and recommending great restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel lobby and common areas were very tastefully decorated and the rooms were comfortable, although a bit small and some areas seemed a bit dingy. The loc - We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).

  Our Days Inn experience was very positive. We stayed one night while dropping off our daughter at the University. The location was close to restaurants and the University.   We were very satisfied with our stay at the Le Tour Belvedere. We had a one bedroom suite. The kitchen was equipted well. It saved us a lot of money to prepare our food for breakfast etc. We ate out one night in Old Montreal and it was excellent. There are many supermarkets around, all within 1-5 mins walk. Metro station is just 5 mins walk. I’ll stay there again.
