  Our stay was wonderful. We were traveling from Nova Scotia to Ontario and just needed a place to stay for the night. We chose the Bridgewaters Inn solely because it was budget friendly. We would go back in a heartbeat because not only was it inexpensive, the owners were so welcoming, friendly and sweet and the inn was newly renovated and extremely... was die leute sagen » clean (renovations on some rooms were still being completed, but we had a newly finished room.) We were made to feel at home, and plan to go back in - Rob, the owner, was very helpful in describing the events and attractions of the area including a fine brief history of the local economy. I was able to get a late dinner at a local restaurant right on the St. Lawrence River with no problem. The room was spotless and the hospitality shown me was excellent.

  Room was clean, and of a relatively decent size. Air conditioner worked extremely well. Bathroom decor was dated but spotlessly clean. The mural in our room was interesting and made it feel like less of a generic motel room. Location is close to the Detroit border, as well as within fifteen minutes of the downtown core.   The gentleman who checked us in was the owner. We checked in around 11:30 pm after attending the Earth, Wind & Fire concert ... although it was late, he was quite friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, had cable (flat screen) TV, toiletries, a microwave, a small fridge and even a small coffee maker. We unfortunately left our Amex credit - We needed an overnight for an early doctor appt. and this place more than fit the bill. Bed was comfortable, clean, and room was pleasant and the right temperature. We were not expecting much for the price but were pleasantly surprized. Do not let appearances keep you away. The location was excellent and it fit the needs for our situation.

  We very much enjoyed our room and the helpful service. Our room was clean, neat and had useful extra items for our comfort and convenience.
