  We liked all of it. The rooms were clean and tidy with hidden extras (look on your pillow). We loved the fake log fire as heating. The views from the garden were lovely. We stayed when it was complete snow (Feb), would recommend a season when you can sit in the garden on the various chairs provided. Breakfast room layout was fab. We enjoyed her - This little gem is right on the St. Lawrence River. It's location is made even more special with the beautiful gardens and boardwalk. Charming "cottages" with comfortable furnishings, kitchens, fireplace and stunning views. The vintage vibe just adds to it's charm. I really enjoyed the yummy muffins included in the continental breakfast!

  Das Colonel's Inn war eine wirklich angenehme Überraschung auf unserer Reise "durch" Ontario. Auf dem Weg von Kingston zum Upper Canada Village haben wir hier Halt gemacht und wären gerne länger geblieben. Eine super freundliche, umsorgte und unterhaltsame Hotelbesitzerin und ein mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Hotel inklusive Swimmingpool und... was die leute sagen » Freizeitraum mit Billiard und Tischtennis-Möglichkeit bieten ein Rund-um-Wohlgefühl. Aber Achtung: die Hotelbesitzerin ist ein "Huger"! ;-) - Jane, the owner, could not have been more hospitable. The inn is lovely, with all the amenities one could wish for, including a beautiful, large, pool. - Very friendly owners, they made us feel like family. Nothing was too much trouble for Jane. Breakfast was great.
